Overview

Chat by Wakeflow was an early product for bringing ChatGPT-style assistance into the channels people were already using. Instead of forcing users into a new interface, it let them message an assistant through familiar platforms and trigger useful tasks from there.

Key capabilities

• Brought a ChatGPT-powered assistant into WhatsApp-based workflows early on.
• Extended the same assistant concept to channels such as mobile web, Discord, and Messenger.
• Supported tool-calling patterns so the assistant could do more than just answer questions.
• Acted as an early test bed for multi-channel LLM product design.

Context

This was a very early LLM-era project and that context matters. The product explored how conversational AI could live across channels, complete tasks, and feel more useful than a standalone chat window.
